I agree the answer is an absolute "no." One of the young stars of the "Harry Potter" acting series said he considered moving to Los Angeles, but declined the move. His decision based upon the fact he is single and the girls are simply not desirable in Los Angeles.
Smart kid. Russell Crowe is a grand example of what happens to men before/during/and after Hollywood. But, who asked him to cavort with Ms. Love? Hugh Grant, Robert Downey, Jr., etc. Of course they're all men.
I cannot and will not discuss Hollywood's obsession with women, I can only dub as "Pop Tarts." These women and Hollywood's obsession for them appears to be what Hollywood does best.
As for those others not mentioned who call L.A. "home," the very late Jim Morrison's words are socially valid today:
"L.A. Woman
Driving down your freeway
Midnight alleys roam;
Cops in cars
and topless bars;
Never saw a woman so alone."©
